Barcelona will be aware of all kinds of young talents around the world, and especially in Europe. One player they will be particularly familiar with is Maghnes Akliouche, who scored a fine solo goal during AS Monaco's 2-1 win over the Catalans in the Champions League earlier this season.
On that occasion, Akliouche scored against Barcelona, although he has revealed that his dream is to play for them. According to MD, there is a recent video circulating in which the 22-year-old admits this, and also that Lionel Messi is his favorite player.
“Besides playing for Monaco, I would like to play for Barcelona. Lionel Messi is my idol. He is the best player in the world.”
Akliouche mainly plays as a right winger, a position that Barcelona do not need at the moment as they already have Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Ferran Torres as options. However, it cannot be ruled out that he will become a target in the future.
