3 Barcelona and 2 Real Madrid players nominated for Kopa trophy

France Football has announced the nominees for the Kopa trophy of 2025, with five players from Real Madrid and Barcelona in the race for the prize. The prize, which honors the best young players of the year, has been won by a player who has followed in El Clasico for the past four years.

Recently it was Lamine Yamal, who was again nominated this season, although he is expected to be admitted to the nominees for the Ballon d'Or this season. Prior to the teenage sensation of Spain, Jude Bellingham, Gavi and Pedri also won the prize.

In the case of the men's price, the new Real Madrid that Dean Huijsen signed is, who came to the club for € 60 million from Bournemouth, one of the nominees. He will be flanked by Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi in terms of the representation of La Liga, where all three share a dressing room for the Spanish national team. Since Lamine Yamal is a candidate for the main prize, Pau Cubarsi has been cast as one of the favorites.

In the meantime, Paris Saint-Germain Duo Doue and Joao Neves will have a strong thing to win the prize after their European domination. Rodrigo Mora (Porto), Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal), Ayyoub Bouaddi (Lille), Estevao (Palmeiras/Chelsea) and Kenan Yildiz (Juventus) complete the list of ten nominees.

On the women's side there are only five nominees, but Real Madrid and Barcelona are a considerable percentage of that list. Real Madrid has involved the Colombian Starlet Linda Caicedo, while Barcelona product Vicky Lopez has also been nominated.

England and Arsenal striker Michelle Agyemang is perhaps their stiff competition, after an important contribution to the victory of her national side in Euro 2025. Claudia Martinez Ovando (Olimpia) and Wieke Kaptein (Chelsea) form the list.
