'My focus is now on her' … Why Jared Throwing will retire

Why did you go away from a sport where so many other fighters retire later in life?

One word: family.

“Me and this wonderful woman brought a nice baby girl in this world and my focus is now on her,” Gooden explained his decision to retire at 31.

“So I'm going to stop my gloves now, man. And I can't wait to let you know what I'm going to do afterwards in life.

“Thank you guys. Thank you to everyone for everything you have done for me, man. I can't say it enough. I hope you stay easy,” added Gooden.
