Marcus Rashford has finally a step away from Manchester United on Sunday and now the Red Devils have less than a day to find his replacement.
The 27-year-old completed a loan of Aston Villa who could still see him more and the club in the summer, for a fee that is considered £ 40 million. Rashford may not have found any place in the plans of Ruben Amorim in the past six weeks or so, but his exit has the Red Devils with room to work.
Aston Villa is said to pay up to 90 percent of the attacker's salary, depending on performance -related bonuses. These are not insignificant costs with a weekly wage of more than £ 300,000.
But who are United's options to come to Old Trafford? Mirror Football looks at who Amorim and Co can focus.
United has not seen luck in their search for Mathys Tel on loan from Bayern Munich. While conversations for the French attacker collapsed, the Red Devils may still know what the requirements of the German giants are.
Tel had already mentioned United as his favorite destination for more playing time. Perhaps they can reassess a late move in view of the permanent signing of the young person, given that his profile fits with United objectives.
Christopher Nunku could be a more ready-made option, which could even swallow in leading the line if Amorim is planning to continue without an out-and-out forward in his starting line-up. It seems that Chelsea would rather facilitate a permanent output on a loan movement, which could see an offer of more than £ 60 million.
United was able to return for further negotiations with Aston Villa, with Leon Bailey told for a move. The 27-year-old would be discussed internally at United and they would consider a loan agreement if he is available.
Liam Delap will not be cheap this month if Ipswich hopes to stay in the Premier League after this season. However, reports claim that the Red Devils can strive to land another young striker and there are few that touch the heights of the ex-manchester City-Jongeer.
With the possibility of negotiations for Alejandro Garnaacho and Nunku with Chelsea on Sunday, Joao Felix might be able to get into conversation. The blues seem happy to separate with Amorim's countryman in the midst of Aston Villa and AC Milan and the ex-Atletico Madrid figure can be a good option for the Amorim system in the short term.
