Manchester United is preparing to revise their team this summer after losing Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final, and not the future of one player is safe at Old Trafford
The Fallout of the catastrophic Europa League failure from Manchester United in Bilbao continues with the news that the hierarchy of the club offers for every player in the team. No player will be immune to the ax, regardless of their status.
This even includes Captain Bruno Fernandes, as United is confronted with a terribly financial black hole. The devastating 1-0 loss for Tottenham saw United blowing a place in the Champions League next season and an estimated £ 100 million in income.
They will now not play in Europe for the second time in 35 years next season. Without the extra income, United also has no choice but to sell players to raise money for Ruben Amorim to strengthen his team and bring in players who fit his philosophy and more unique playing style.
Here Mirror Football takes a look at five United Stars who could work elsewhere in their trade next season. Betfair also has opportunities for their most likely voorags, provided that they will continue before 2 September 2025.
Alejandro Garnacho
While often a beacon of hope for United, 20-year-old Garnacho has endured an abundance of problems among Amorim, with behavioral problems among them.
The young Argentinian – once seen as the face of the future of United – would sometimes be located in recent months, could ever go hunting for a new club this summer, especially after his eruption of the media on Wednesday evening.
Garnacho spread because he gestured for the Europa League final, where Mason Mount preferred the left wing by Amorim. His comments in the press, as well as the message from his brother and agent on Instagram that is based on Amorim's bold call, will not afford him if he hopes to stay this summer.
Chelsea belonged to the teams that were linked to him in January, and it seems that they will remain a strong competition when he is sold.
Odds for the next club of Garnacho:
Atletico Madrid – 4/1Chelsea – 5/1Juventus, Napoli – 15/2INTE MILAN – 9/1AC MILAN, Tottenham – 10/1aston Villa – 22/1
Mason Mount
The Big Money signing of United from 2023 has sustained a series of injuries and setbacks since he came to the club from Chelsea for a stunning £ 55 million.
Although he has recently found a number of possibilities for the first team, United could very well pay for the international English international, with the 26-year-old this season made only 25 performances in all competitions. However, it seems unlikely that United would be able to bring close to the compensation they have paid for him, given his injuries.
Opportunities for the next club of Mount:
West Ham – 5/1aston Villa – 13/2Newcastle – 15/2Nottingham Forest, Tottenham – 17/2Juventus, Chelsea – 9/1
Kobbie Mainoo
Mainoo burst on stage for United and England in the hope that he could be the Talisman of the Red Devils for years. Although they have finished bags with talent, the 20-year-old has handed over to injuries this season, while his shape has also been immersed.
You would imagine that the Old Trafford believers would rather keep Mainoo, but the young person is now no longer safe for the ax this summer. Chelsea is known as admirers.
Opportunities for the next club of Mainoo:
Chelsea – 3/1Juventus – 4/1Aaston Villa, Inter Milan – 5/1bayern Munich – 13/2Nottingham Forest – 15/2Tottenham – 10/1
Rasmus Hojlund
Is a return of 26 goals in 94 games enough for the 22-year-old who cost about £ 64 million in 2023 United? The jury is still out. The Young Dane has shown blooms of the talent that United saw a gamble on him while he turned it on for Atalanta.
All too often, however, he has drifted in and out of competitions, while his abject performance in the Europa League final may have been living in memory for a long time. The club can look at money while he is still young, but it seems unlikely that another Premier League team would take an end to him.
Odds for the next club of Hojlund:
Juventus- 9/4AC Milan – 5/1atalanta – 13/2Napoli – 17/2inter Milan, Bayer Leverkusen – 10/1
Bruno Fernandes
The captain of United and the player will most likely they dig out of the deepest holes time and time again – certainly is Fernandes certainly not for the cut? Well, if the comments of the Portuguese star after the Europa League final are something to visit, Fernandes, 30, might be about to bring his five-year association with the Red Devils to end.
“If the club thinks it's time to separate because they want to come up with some money or whatever, it is what it is,” he said to Spurs after the defeat. “Football is sometimes so. I have always said that I will be here until the club tells me it is time to go.”
Despite the fact that he turned 31 the next September, United could still demand a considerable fee for the Portuguese star, given his continuous output in a red shirt.
It can be a case of today or never with getting big money for Fernandes, but replacing him well will be a long assignment.
Top Target Matheus Cunha also plays ahead at Wolves. It is due to costs united, no less than £ 62.5 million – his release clause – and it is still to be seen what the United budget before the summer will be.
Odds for the next club of Fernandes:
Each Saudi Pro League Club – 17/20 Real Madrid – 12/1BARCELONA – 16/1Paris Saint -Germain – 33/1Livepool – 66/1MAN City – 66/1ANY MLS team – 66/1
