The Paris Saint-Germain Forward takes the prize after playing a crucial role in the path of his team to glory.
UEFA Technical Observer Group has called the Ousmane Dembélé of Paris Saint-Germain as the UEFA Champions League player of the 2024/25 season.
“After his eight goals, Dembélé took on the role of a leader in the Paris Saint-Germain team, as we saw in the final with how he worked so hard, pressed the front,” explained the UEFA Technical Observer Group. “Moreover, he created doubts for their game after the game with his smart movement, which falls deeply to give his team superiority in midfield.”
The 28-year-old was excellent during the campaign and was the most important scorer in the competition for Luis Enrique's side with eight goals. They include a crucial attack to start a dramatic change against Manchester City on MatchDay 7, a hat trick in Stuttgart on Matchday 8 and won efforts to both Liverpool and Arsenal in the knockout phase.
