PETER CROUCH made a brutal attack on wife Abbey Clancy after admitting he might follow in Tyson Fury's footsteps.
Host Jules Breach appeared on TNT Sports and asked Crouch and co-commentator Ally McCoist about tonight's heavyweight showdown between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
As part of the preview for the fight, the Gypsy King revealed how he didn't speak to his wife Paris for three months while in camp.
When Breach said this to Crouch and McCoist, the former Liverpool and Tottenham striker nodded.
He then joked: “Maybe I'll take up boxing.”
The joke was laughed at by Breach and McCoist.
But perhaps fearing repercussions from Abbey later, Crouch added: “That's not what I meant Jules, it's Christmas.”
Regarding the actual fight, Crouch said: “It will be an interesting fight.
“I would like Fury to win, but I think Usyk will.
“When you watch him and his coach train, it looks like he's built differently.”
McCoist then repeated the joke again, adding: “Me and Crouchy are going to the boxing camp.”
Crouch then replied: “We'll spar a bit.”
The 43-year-old married Abbey in 2011 after meeting in 2006.
They have two daughters and two sons together.
Abbey and Crouch were involved in a steamy advert last month that saw the former England star tied to a pool table with the model in red lingerie.
Although she admitted it was an “excruciating” experience.
