During the summer, Sevilla rebuilt their midfield options. The likes of Oliver Torres, Oscar Rodriguez and Joan Jordan all left, with Saul Niguez and Albert Sambi-Lokonga. Lucien Agoume was one to stay, although he signed for Inter Milan on a permanent basis after being loaned out in the second half of last season.
Sevilla has high expectations for Agoume, who has been a regular starter all season. However, he could leave the club next summer as La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FCInterNews) has reported that Arsenal and Barcelona have both shown interest in the 22-year-old.
It is believed that Arsenal are currently most interested in Agoume, who they see as a possible replacement for Thomas Partey, whose contract expires at the end of the season. Sevilla won't want to lose their man, but given their financial situation, they would certainly accept a good offer if one were made.
