TOTTENHAM fans protested against chairman Daniel Levy ahead of their defeat to Liverpool.
Spurs were outclassed by the league leaders, who inflicted a 6-3 defeat on Christmas against Ange Postecoglou's side in the bottom half.
The Tottenham boss has faced his fair share of criticism this season and faced angry traveling support after an insipid defeat to Bournemouth.
But before the match against Liverpool, a small group of supporters marched against Levy.
Banners were held aloft calling for the club's longtime chief to leave his post, while supporters carried black balloons with the words: “L£VI OUT”.
One banner read: “I don't care about Levy and he doesn't care about me.”
While another attacked the owners more broadly, saying: “Daring is too expensive. ENIC out.”
Organizers planned to release the black balloons onto the field in the 24th minute, but few reached the grass.
Tottenham fans have had to accept rising prices since moving to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but results on the pitch have deteriorated.
They sit in eleventh place going into Christmas, having lost eight of their seventeen Premier League games.
Their saving grace this season has been their cup form, having progressed to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup this week after beating Manchester United.
But Spurs have not qualified for the Champions League since 2022 and there has been little return on the more than £1 billion spent on transfers since the club last won a trophy in 2008.
