Valencia eyeing up January move for ex-Real Madrid defender
Last month, Valencia suffered a cruel injury blow when Thierry Correia was ruled out for the rest of the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament against Getafe. The Portuguese's absence means that Los Che only have Dimitri Foulquier as their right-back option, and therefore a new signing is required in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Signing a loan is the avenue that will be explored by club bosses, and according to Diario AS, AC Milan's Alex Jimenez is one of the players being considered. The 19-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Real Madrid in 2023, initially on loan, before the deal was made permanent in the summer.
Milan want Jimenez to play regularly in the first team and that is why they are aiming for a loan move in January. Valencia will see this as an attractive, cheap option, so it wouldn't be a surprise if their interest turned into a formal offer once the winter transfer window opens.
