Fans convinced Jude Bellingham sang X-rated chant about Alan Shearer while watching brother Jobe for Sunderland

FANS believe Jude Bellingham joined in a crude chant about Alan Shearer as he cheered on brother Jobe.

The Real Madrid midfielder certainly showed plenty of Christmas cheer as he supported Jobe's Sunderland at Shearer's old club Blackburn in a Championship promotion battle.

And many supporters were convinced the smiling England hero was jokingly singing along as visiting fans mocked the Toon legend and BBC pundit, who remains the Premier League's all-time top scorer.

Bellingham, 21, was captured playfully muttering a chant that normally includes the wholesome words “he wears a magic hat.”

The new variant – unusually adapted by Sunderland supporters – included: “Shearer is aw****r”.

Bellingham's head was seen swaying to the beat of the song as he appeared to be having fun during his Christmas break – with Real out of action until January 6.

And Sunderland fans seemed delighted with his support for Jobe – in whatever way possible.

One commented on a clip of the incident by revealing that it “wasn't something that was on my list of things to expect to see this Christmas. But here we are. Legend!”

Other messages of approval included “I couldn't love him more if I tried” and “Oh I love you Jude”.

Bellingham Senior's 19-year-old brother Jobe is expected to follow him to the top.

And while the topic of conversation at Bellingham Boxing Day for many was about the chant, the younger brother will be more concerned about the dramatic finale on the field.

Yuki Ohashi's deserved opener for Blackburn was canceled out after the break by a quick double, via a strike from Chris Rigg and a backheel from Wilson Isidor.

But Rovers' late substitute Harry Leonard grabbed a points save in the 90th minute.

Sunderland remain fourth – one place but six points ahead of Blackburn.
