Another year is almost over and a new transfer window is fast approaching.
There is renewed talk of a striker dominating Arsenal's agenda as January approaches. Twelve months ago the Gunners showed signs of struggle as they appeared short on firepower but ultimately finished second in the Premier League.
With Bukayo Saka out due to injuries, questions about who can carry the burden of finding the net for Mikel Arteta's side and the Gunners' title challenge only intensify. After signing the likes of Leandro Trossard and Jorginho in previous January windows, could they make another move?

Cunha interest
Wolves striker Matheus Cunha is of interest for Arsenal as the Gunners were in the same position before Bukayo Saka's injury. The Telegraph reports that any transfer interest in January will lead to a huge battle as Wolves try to secure their place as a Premier League club.
The Midlands side signed Cunha for £44 million from Atletico Madrid and the forward has two years left on his contract. Wolves are hoping the player will commit his future to a longer deal and regardless of when he leaves, the striker is likely to see his team make a profit.
Sesko last
Former Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko has a lot of interest in him, with five or more teams considering a move. The RB Leipzig striker decided to stay in Germany this summer but clubs are already lining up to take him elsewhere, although a successful transfer is more likely to happen in the summer.
“There are many clubs that would like to have Sesko. It could be more than five clubs,” says transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
“But it is not a topic for January. The Sesko case will be open again this summer and then the real candidates can come forward with concrete discussions. At this stage, nothing has been advanced at any club.”
Dani Olmo's agent flies in
Dani Olmo's agent has reportedly arrived in Manchester as Premier League clubs look to take advantage of Barcelona's uncertain ability to sign the player for the second half of the season.
Financial constraints meant Olmo's £50 million summer signing could only enter the star register on a temporary basis. It means that Olmo can leave as a free agent if the Spanish FA blocks his registration for the second part of the season.
Olmo's priority was to stay at Barcelona, but the situation is said to have forced his agent Andy Bara to explore alternatives. Bara is said to have said he is on holiday in the North West, but Olmo has attracted interest from a number of Premier League sides.
