Dani Olmo's agent makes clear their stance on Olmo's registration situation.
Andy Bara, Dani Olmo's agent: “I can confirm that our position has not changed. We are not negotiating with any club.”
“Dani is a Barça player and he wants to be a Barça player. He has made great efforts in his life to play for Barcelona. It has been his wish for a long time.
“We respect President Laporta and Deco. They put a lot of effort into signing Dani last summer.
“We like their project, it is a great project for the future and one of the best in the world in the coming years.
“We are fully convinced that Barça will win all the titles in the future, just like they did during the Messi era. The player, the family, me… we all wanted Dani to be at Barça.”
“Reports in the media and statement from La Liga? To be honest, I feel calm.
“It may feel strange, but I believe in President Laporta, Deco and I think they will find a solution for Dani. It is a huge club.”
“I believe that Barça will complete and realize everything.
“La Liga should help them, instead of these reports that Dani is not available for the national team… but I am sure that I will stay at Barça for many more years, happy at the club and with Dani's wish to be there.
“Other options or clubs? Barcelona is the FIRST and LAST option.
“Dani, his father, family, me… we don't think about other options.”
Speaking of Olmo's personal feelings after hearing the bad news, Andy says:
“Dani's feelings? It's a stressful situation for him, just like for any other player… but he's a great player and person, he tries to stay calm.
“Of course Dani is a winner and he likes to play the games, not watch them.”
