After days of watching Khabib Nurmagomedov slam Irish MMA, Conor McGregor has now hit back at his old rival.
The lightweight pair share what is still considered the greatest rivalry the sport of MMA has ever seen and when they fought at UFC 229 in 2018, things only escalated and worsened.
After Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor in the fourth round of their main event, 'The Eagle' decided he wasn't done there yet and launched himself across the Octagon and into McGregor's corner team, leading to one of the biggest out-of -cage melees ever. .

Khabib Nurmagomedov continues his tirade of Irish MMA
Earlier this week, Nurmagomedov launched a vicious attack on Irish MMA as a whole, which of course McGregor also insinuated.
During an interview, the Russian claimed that Ireland has no fighters and that the upcoming fight between Khabib's cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov, and Bellator lightweight title challenger, Paul Hughes, is not 'Russia vs. Ireland 2'.
This naturally provoked a response from Hughes who claimed that McGregor made Nurmagomedov famous and that the only thing Dagestan is number one at is juicing.
Despite this, Khabib continued his original point by saying: “You can say whatever you want, but when we talk about facts, you cannot compare the Irish fighter from Dagestan. We dominate amateur MMA, and it's not even close.
“I am absolutely sure that if we organized a team-versus-team match, Dagestan would beat a world team in amateur MMA. And when it comes to professional MMA, we have champions, contenders and ranked fighters in every major league.
“Show me Irish fighters who are currently title contenders in the top 3 MMA promotions. At best you can name 1 or 2 fighters. The facts speak for themselves,” he continued.
You can say whatever you want, but when we talk about facts, you cannot compare Irish fighters with fighters from Dagestan. We dominate amateur MMA, and that's not even close – not just compared to Irish fighters, but to the entire world. I am absolutely confident that if we…

Conor McGregor fires back at Khabib Nurmagomedov with bizarre video
After sitting back and listening to the tirade from 'The Eagles' of Irish MMA, 'The Notorious' finally decided to hit back at Nurmagomedov in quite a bizarre and comedic fashion.
Since he has been inactive during fights, fans have come to understand that the Irishman is quite active on social media, but he has developed a reputation for deleting his posts.
This time, however, McGregor posted a minute-and-a-half video titled “UFC during the McGregor era,” a montage of all of the Irishman's best moments under the UFC banner.
The video then transitions to 'UFC during the Dagestan era' and it is a montage of Khabib and Islam Makhachev wrestling their opponents.

McGregor is infamous for Khabib and his team for their wrestling-heavy fighting style, claiming they are 'crotch sniffers', etc.
When Paul Hughes announced he would fight Nurmagomedov for the Bellator lightweight title, he asked McGregor to be part of his corner team since Khabib will be in Usman's corner.
McGregor originally claimed he would 'be there if anything happened', but it is unclear if he has now changed his mind following the recent feud.
