Barcelona have not given up on their attempt to sign Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, and for now at least they have been successful after their exploration of the legal route came up trumps.
As reported by El Larguero (via Sport), the Higher Sports Council (CSD) has granted Barcelona the long-awaited precautionary measure, meaning they can provisionally register Olmo and Victor.
However, the pair will not be available for Athletic Club in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final on Wednesday, although they could face Real Madrid or Mallorca in the final on Sunday if Barcelona get there.
This is very good news for Barcelona, ​​even if it is only a temporary solution. There is still a lot of work to be done to rectify the situation so that Olmo and Victor will be available for the rest of the season, but this is a good start.
