Cristiano Ronaldo keen to bring Manchester United man to Saudi Arabia – could condition future

A number of top stars no longer have contracts expiring this summer and can conclude deals with other teams on the basis of a pre-contract. Few have mentioned the name of Cristiano Ronaldo, whose contract with Al-Nassr and Saudi Arabia also expires this summer. However, its continuity is not a given.

Ronaldo is open to continuing in Saudi Arabia and has a lot of business to do there. He has also joined the Saudi brand, but Marca explains that he is open to a move to Major League Soccer, where he would obviously come face to face with rival Lionel Messi.

The same outlet explains that Ronaldo would like to have Manchester United midfielder Casemiro by his side regardless of where his next move is. The Brazilian is considered one of his most loyal colleagues on the pitch. If Saudi Arabia and Al-Nassr want to keep Ronaldo, money will undoubtedly be a major factor, but they have tough negotiations for the 39-year-old, but signing Casemiro would be a big step in keeping him.

The pair certainly enjoyed the best of times together, with the Brazilian's breakthrough into the starting XI at Real Madrid coinciding with their sensational Champions League run, which saw them win three consecutive European Cups. Both were reunited at Manchester United, but it was a bittersweet period for Ronaldo, who left the club after falling out with Erik ten Hag.
