According to a report from L'Équipe, Fenerbahçe have sent their opening bid to RC Lens for Kevin Danso (26).
José Mourinho's team are said to have made a bid worth almost €20 million. Foot Mercato previously reported that a bid in excess of €20 million would be needed to convince Lens to part ways with their centre-back.
This is mainly due to the feeling that Abdukodir Khusanov (20) will leave in this transfer period. Lens wants to prevent both starting central defenders from walking around halfway through the season without receiving sufficient compensation.
Fenerbahce are not the only team interested in testing Lens' commitment to their defender, with L'Équipe writing that Galatasaray will compete with their fierce rivals, while yesterday it was reported that VfB Stuttgart were also interested in Danso.
