According to a report from Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport, Abdukodir Khusanov (20) missed training at RC Lens today as an agreement on his departure to Manchester City approaches.
It appears the Uzbekistan international will soon leave for the Premier League title holders as he believed a full deal between the two clubs would be agreed later today. Foot Mercato reported this morning that Les Sang et Or could receive a club record fee of €50 million, including bonuses for the centre-back.
Khusanov has reportedly already made personal arrangements with Manchester City as the England side look to quickly put a disappointing end to 2024 behind them in the new year. The club won just two games in a run of fourteen games to end the year.
The defender will arrive as part of an attempt to revamp the squad for the final part of the season at Manchester City, where Omar Marmoush could also join from Frankfurt soon.
