Adryelson (26) will leave Olympique Lyonnais this winter, according to a report from L'Équipe. The central defender, who came over from Botafogo last January, will probably be loaned to RSC Anderlecht for the rest of the season. The Belgian club will have an option to make this deal permanent for €5 million.
Adryeslon has failed to settle for Lyon, making just four appearances in total and was loaned out to Botafogo for six months at the start of this season. Some interest had been reported from Trabzonspor and it was thought an agreement was close. However, it now looks like his future (at least in the short term) will lie in Belgium.
Lyon is trying to free up space in the current transfer window due to ongoing financial problems. The club has been handed a transfer ban and faces provisional relegation to Ligue 2 unless they can convince the DNCG (French football's financial watchdog) that the club is in a healthier situation.
