Real Madrid will go for their third trophy of the season on Sunday as they prepare to face Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final. Los Blancos are looking forward to a repeat of last year's showpiece in Saudi Arabia, which they won 4-1 after a Vinicius Junior hat-trick.
Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the media ahead of the match on Saturday and confirmed he will have Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham available for the showdown against Barcelona, after the trio suffered blows in Thursday's semi-final victory over Mallorca (via MD).
“We started the match well. With a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of desire. The problems we had against Mallorca have been resolved and all players are available. Bellingham is doing well, he has recovered well. It's very important because he's had a good run. He is a player who has made the difference at this moment.”
Ancelotti also gave his thoughts on how he believes his Real Madrid side can achieve victory on Sunday.
“In El Clasico, quality takes precedence over the team's balance and that is one of the reasons why the last Clasicos were a bit crazier. An important aspect in tomorrow's match is defense. If you defend well, you are more likely to win.”
