Conor McGregor's recently rumored boxing fight in India against Logan Paul could be in jeopardy, but KSI has put his name in the hat to replace his business partner.
After more than four years away from the UFC, Conor McGregor wants to return to combat sports in 2025.
The former UFC doubles champion recently bizarrely announced that he was in preliminary talks for a boxing fight against Logan Paul, which would take place in India.
Things really seemed to pick up steam and it was even announced that the two would fight at Wankhede Stadium as part of a 'Visit India' tourism campaign, which had a $500 million payout attached.

Logan Paul provides update on his future in combat sports
'The Notorious' even hinted that since Paul and McGregor are both under the TKO banner, the UFC would be involved in negotiations for the fight, again making exceptions for their biggest star.
However, since the first influx of news about this potential super fight, talks seem to have slowed down and Logan Paul recently dropped a huge hint that the fight might not even happen.
Last Monday, the WWE held their first event on Netflix, and of course 'The Maverick' was part of the storyline of the historic event.
Paul joined the WWE in 2022 and has consistently wowed fans with his skills in the wrestling ring, considering his little experience in it. Despite this, he never fought full-time under the WWE banner and always continued with his other endeavors.
But the 29-year-old appears to have had a change of heart regarding his martial arts career, admitting on Monday that he is now ready to dedicate his life to the WWE and quit side hustles.
“I get it, I would hate me too,” Paul said during a signature heel promo during the episode of Monday Night Raw.
“I don't respect the process. I've never stood in line or waited for my turn, but you know what should really keep you awake at night? I've been so good at this. And now? I dedicate my life to this, no more afterthoughts, no more bulls***. 100 percent WWE superstar,” Paul claimed.
With Paul seemingly willing to throw away his potential fight against Conor McGregor, his business partner, KSI has thrown his name in the hat to replace him.
KSI offers to fight Conor McGregor after Logan Paul update
“The Nightmare,” KSI was one of the internet sensations that kickstarted the influencer boxing era and he now even co-owns his own influencer boxing promotion, Misfits.
The YouTuber made his professional boxing debut in October 2023 against Tommy Fury after several amateur boxing fights against the likes of Logan and Joe Fournier.
Despite the defeat to 'TNT' Fury, the PRIME Hydration owner has thrown his name in the hat following his business partner's update.
“No rumors. I'm very down,” KSI replied to a tweet suggesting there are rumors of a fight between him and McGregor.
Although it seems unlikely, McGregor has previously called up the internet sensation for a boxing fight when they both attended Anthony Joshua's fight against Robert Helenius.
“I know your man KSI is in the crowd, yeah, and he couldn't pack eggs if he worked in an egg carton factory, so if he wants to get in here I'll fight him bare knuckles if he wants to,” said McGregor in the ring.
