Napoli manager Antonio Conte today revealed that Paris Saint-Germain target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has 'asked to leave Napoli', while Foot Mercato insider Santi Aouna reports the French capital club are nearing a deal for the Georgian international .
Aouna has revealed that a verbal agreement is close to being reached between PSG and Napoli over Kvaratskhelia, with the two clubs aiming to finalize a deal next week. Napoli boss Conte revealed today that Kvaratskhelia “has asked to leave the club”, saying he had spoken to the player and “confirmed his plan to leave the club immediately”. Meanwhile, it has been reported that the Georgian will sign a four-three contract. -a six-month contract with the club Rouge et Bleu, and that Napoli is not interested in a transfer that involves an exchange for PSG central defender Milan Skriniar. RMC sports journalist Fabrice Hawkins reported yesterday that Kvaratskhelia was keen to join the Ligue 1 champions and that PSG had reportedly sent an undisclosed offer to their Serie A counterparts. It was previously reported that Kvaratskhelia would be allowed to leave Napoli in exchange for a transfer fee of around €80 million. Fabrizio Romano then added that PSG are offering to quadruple Kvaratskhelia's salary.
