Aljamain Sterling believes Mike Tyson could beat Daniel Cormier in a street fight

At the height of his powers, Mike Tyson was a truly terrifying competitor, using his infamous peek-a-boo style to deceive his opponents before rendering them unconscious with thunderous combinations.

While his hands were undeniably deadly, his wrestling skills certainly don't match.

With that in mind, many would suspect that Daniel Cormier would pick him up in a street fight and throw him into the ground.

However, Aljamain Sterling is convinced there is a route to victory for the boxer.

In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, the ex-UFC bantamweight king said: “I'm torn because if 'DC' can get to his legs first then he'll kill him, but then again if they get to getting it right, and Tyson starts moving, that's scary.

“I don't think you understand how fast and how devastating Tyson was in his prime. I just don't think there are men as vicious as Tyson in his prime. It's a very convincing argument.

'Even when DC shoots, he gets hit: with a bare knuckle. And yeah, he might grab it afterward, but it might hit him on the chin, making it look like, “My legs don't work like they used to.”

“I see it going both ways. I can see Tyson killing him, and I can see DC killing him.
