Barcelona are planning to sign a new left winger this month, and they have been linked with several high-profile targets in recent weeks. Right now their favorite is Marcus Rashford, although a deal for the Manchester United star won't be easy, and not just because of their well-documented financial problems.
Rashford is happy to go out on loan and a deal is possible for Barcelona, even if they will have to reduce their wage costs. They need to do this quickly as there are many clubs interested in the 27-year-old and one more is about to enter the race: Napoli.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is expected to join Paris Saint-Germain in the coming weeks, and Sport says Napoli will opt for Rashford as his replacement. Like Barcelona, they also want him on loan and striking a deal with Man United will be easier for them than for the Catalan giants.
Barcelona really like Rashford and it would be a great deal if they can rent him. However, it seems to be becoming increasingly difficult to do this.
