Mike Tyson gives Evander Holyfield his ear back

On June 28, 1997, Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson met in one of the most highly anticipated rematches of all time.

But while the crowd hoped for a fair resolution to the rivalry, they were left shocked when 'Iron Mike' bit off part of his opponent's ear.

The moment was nothing short of shocking, with Holyfield wincing in pain as the referee had no choice but to disqualify Tyson.

But while many would hold a grudge, former cruiserweight and heavyweight King has found it in his heart to forgive his enemy.

Sheesh: Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have both been suspended from boxing

In 2022, the pair joined forces to start their own edible brand, called 'Holy Ears', which, appropriately, has a piece missing.

To promote their brand, the pair joined forces to create a pretty interesting Christmas advert.

Dressed in festive sweaters, with music in the background, the icons sat down in front of the fireplace to exchange gifts.

When he realized his new friend had bought him a gift, Holyfield smiled, but was left stunned when Tyson exclaimed, “I've got your ear.”

Stunned, 'The Real Deal' replied, “That's not my ear,” to which his old nemesis exclaimed, “Yes, that's it, the taste of cherry pie punch.”

Somewhat offended, Holyfield protested, “My ears don't taste like cherry pie punch.” Then Tyson insisted: “Yes, they do.”

The pair then began arguing back and forth, before Tyson ended the argument by exclaiming, “I ate your ear, I should know.”

During his clash with Jake Paul on Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, US, Tyson made waves for biting again. Fortunately, this time it seemed to be his mouthguard, and not his opponent.

The commentary team noted how regularly he did this and even thought it might have weakened him during the fight.

However, it turns out the boxing legend didn't bite his mouthguard, and the 58-year-old is now revealing what he was actually doing.
