Aston Villa have made enquires into Liverpool target Loïc Badé

According to a report from L'Équipe, Aston Villa have made inquiries for Sevilla's Loïc Badé, 24, while English media suggest that Newcastle and Liverpool are also interested in the defender.

The French outlet writes that Aston Villa has not yet made an offer to their Spanish counterparts. However, they have been in touch as they try to work out what conditions they need to meet to make a move possible during the current transfer window.

Badé has a contract with Sevilla that binds him to the club until 2029, but like all players in Spain he has included a release clause in his contract. This release clause is reportedly valued at €50 million.

2024 was an important year for Badé. The centre-back was part of the French hopefuls who advanced to the final of the Olympic Games and earned a silver medal as they lost 5-3 to Spain in extra time. After the Paris Olympics, Badé earned his first call-up to the national team.
