Sevilla given boost as La Liga forward to choose move to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan

Sevilla had to work on a limited budget in recent seasons, but could perhaps have made a smart addition for next year on a free transfer. Recent reports suggest that Espanyol striker Javi Puado will leave for Ramon Sánchez Pizjuan at the end of the season.

Puado, the Espanyol captain, is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to sign for any team from January 1. Whatever attempts to renew Puado in Barcelona have so far been unsuccessful, and Cadena Cope assures that Puado has chosen Seville as his next destination.

Los Nervionenses have been linked several times with a transfer from Puado in recent months. This season, the 26-year-old has six goals and an assist in 17 games but remains Los Perico's main goal threat after scoring 16 in Segunda last year. He can operate through the middle, although usually with another attacker next to him, or more likely from the wing in Garcia Pimienta's system.
