TalkSPORT say United are looking at Suzuki again this season.
The Japanese international left Sint-Truidense for Parma last summer.
The 22-year-old has made 19 appearances in Serie A, keeping three clean sheets.
Suzuki was already close to a move to United in the summer of 2023, but did not want to be a backup for André Onana and opted for Sint-Truidense.
His contract runs until the summer of 2029. Parma hopes to keep him for at least one more season.
