West Ham and Tottenham linked to Barcelona forward on the fringe of plans

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has noted in his last two press conferences that Ansu Fati needs to show in training that he is improving and working hard to be able to play football again. However, the club are keen for him to accept a move in the January transfer window.

22-year-old Fati has been advised by both the club and some of his camp to move on loan in order to get regular playing time. The La Masia product has only featured for 186 minutes under Flick this season. Sport reports that Fati has received offers from Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United in the Premier League to try to kick-start his season, with both sides keen on more attacking options due to injuries. Besiktas are also the latest Turkish giants to be linked with Fati and could be another option for him.

It should be noted that this information is yet to be confirmed in England. The former Barcelona wonderkid is unlikely to be guaranteed a starting spot at any of the clubs mentioned, which could be an obstacle in convincing him to make the move. Flick has left him out of the last three matchday squads, which could certainly motivate a move.
