As things stand, Marcus Rashford is only a more realistic signing than Barcelona can make in January, although a deal is far from certain. An offer has yet to be made to Manchester United as the Catalan club have not yet raised the necessary funds, but if they wait much longer they could miss out entirely.
According to Sport, Borussia Dortmund have made the move for Rashford, and the proposal submitted is the best received by Man United. However, the player himself has not committed yet, as his wish would be to play for Barcelona in the second half of the season.
The likes of Rashford certainly buy Barcelona some time, but they need to seal a major exit as soon as possible if they want to make a move for the England forward. As things stand, Ansu Fati is the player they want to part with, although an exit is not close at the moment.
