Payton Talbott breaks silence with two-word message after shocking first career defeat at UFC 311

UFC bantamweight prospect Payton Talbott broke his silence after a shocking loss to Raoni Barcelos during the UFC 311 prelims.

Payton Talbott was seen as almost an insurmountable favorite heading into his fight with Raoni Barcelos at UFC 311. The talented 26-year-old bantamweight has dominated his previous three UFC outings, but at UFC 311 he came up short in one of his few bouts. -the-cage-moments of fighting adversity.

Talbott lost by unanimous decision to Barcelos at UFC 311 for the first defeat of his professional MMA career. Despite a late comeback bid anchored by some dangerous flying knees, Talbott's rally wasn't enough to turn the tide on the judges' scorecards.

Talbott entered UFC 311 as the biggest betting favorite on the card for his fight with Barcelos. His 19-second knockout in his most recent outing against Yanis Ghemmouri was enough for many to give Barcelos little chance against Talbott in their clash.

It didn't take long for Talbott to post his first post-fight comments on social media, albeit in an indirect way.
