‘Cry me a river’ – Match of the Day pundit Ashley Williams cheekily trolled after getting Arsenal ace’s name wrong TWICE

ASHLEY WILLIAMS was brutally busted for a double blunder while working as a pundit on BBC Match of the Day.

Williams, 40, was on Saturday night's show, which included highlights from Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.

However, while analyzing the game, fans noticed a small mistake from the former defender.

The Welshman was heard accidentally referring to Gunners star Jurrien Timber as “Justin”.

Viewers were left doing a double take when Williams made the same mistake again moments later.

And fans couldn't resist poking fun at the former Swansea and Everton star.

One fan said on social media: “Can someone please tell Ashley Williams that Arsenal's Timber is called Jurrien and not Justin?”

A second said: “Justin Timber…(more)”

A third added: “Justin Timber?! Cry me a river, Ashley Williams.”

Another said: “Justin Timber, you know.”

Williams' analysis of the Dutchman came as he explained why he and Thomas Partey playing at right-back in the absence of William Saliba cost Arsenal from a defensive point of view.

Arsenal took a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz, but had to settle for a draw after goals from Youri Tielemans and Ollie Watkins.

Williams explained that the defense's makeshift right side left them exposed down that flank, leading to the first Villa goal.

Partey then took center stage when he left Watkins unmarked so he could fire home the equalizer.

With Liverpool making a late comeback against Brentford through Darwin Nunez, Mikel Arteta's team is now six points behind the leader, who still has a game in hand.

Arsenal host Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League before traveling to Wolves next weekend.
