Georges St-Pierre has gone into detail about how one of the greatest boxing trainers of all time discovered a route for him to beat Michael Bisping.

After an entertaining build-up full of memorable press conferences, Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre finally met in the octagon.
In an entertaining affair, the pair traded brutal blows, with 'Rush' ultimately walking away the winner via submission in the third round.
The epic moment cemented St-Pierre's place as possibly the greatest fighter in MMA history.
However, without the help of Freddie Roach, he might not have become the middleweight champion.

In an interview on The MMA Hour, 'GSP' explained: “He made a very good adjustment in the second round; he made me miss and responded a lot. The first round my overhand right worked well, and I was able to take him down more easily.
“But in the second round his coach told him to exercise more. I was not prepared for this fighting style. All my sparring partners were guys trying to take me out.
“When I lost the second round, I came back into the corner and Freddie Roach said to me, 'Now he's countering your overhand because he knows you're going over his jab. What you're going to do now is throw your right hand and come over the top with a left hook.” That's how I knocked him down.
“Once I got him down, I gave him a little space so he could turn face down and try to get up. He had a split second where he exposed his back, and I sank into the rear naked choke.

Over his esteemed career, St-Pierre built a huge following, with some of the biggest stars in the world coming to see him fight.
Once the Canadian saw someone in the crowd of whom he had a very high opinion.
He has now revealed exactly how spotting his biggest celebrity crush affected his performance.
