Family and friends were in the stands to support the young Belgian.
He said afterwards: “It was nice to play in front of my family and friends in my own country, against the club where it all started for me, but I would have preferred to win.
“A point doesn't actually get us anywhere. We knew that Club Brugge was going to make it difficult for us. There is a reason why clubs find it so difficult to win here. We were hungry in the second half, but that should have been sooner happened.
“If that had been the case, the score might have been different.”
