Juventus coach Motta unhappy with strikers for Club Brugge stalemate

The 0-0 draw puts Juve's chances of reaching the play-offs at stake.

“All the teams that came here had problems against a team that defends and closes very well. We didn't suffer, but we didn't create enough to win the match either,” Motta told Sky Italia.

“It's a shame because we could have done better tonight, with all due respect to this team who in other games had scored on the counter-attack and then defended well to prevent their opponents from getting back into the game.

“They had very few scoring opportunities, they played the whole game and waited for us to make a mistake.”

However, Motta added: “Finally we are starting to get some players back from injury, especially in attack.

“We started with Samuel Mbangula, Nico Gonzalez and Timothy Weah, then Kenan Yildiz, Dusan Vlahovic and Francisco Conceicao came on. I will also add Randal Kolo Muani who will be with us in the League, these are all players who can give us something more.

“Our strikers are the ones who need to contribute more to the team at the moment.”
