With things picking up speed in January, here's a look at some of the things you might have missed in La Liga over the past few days.
Striker Abde Rebbach has been loaned to Granada until the end of the season, while AC Milan talent Luka Romero has ended his own move to the Basque Country to return to Cruz Azul after just eight games for Alaves.
Celta Vigo has more or less decided to activate the purchase option of Ilaix Moriba from RB Leipzig for around €6 million, of which Barcelona will receive 10%. Whether he stays at the club will depend on whether he is willing to reduce his salary – Celta will hope so after some brilliant performances in recent months.
Relevo further notes that new sporting director Marco Garces has moved all but two of his predecessor Luis Campos' first nine signings: Williot Swedberg and Oscar Mingueza. Jorgen Strand Larsen is the only one they made a profit on.
USMNT midfielder Luca de la Torre has been loaned to San Diego FC until the end of the season, while Jonathan Bamba is expected to join Chicago Fire in the coming days.
Ajax talent Naci Unuvar has ended his rental period at the RCDE Stadium following the arrival of Roberto Fernandez from Braga last week. Unuvar is rented out to FC Twente.
Diego Martinez has strengthened his backline with 24-year-old right back Andy Pelmard. The Frenchman comes from Clermont Foot, after being loaned to Lecce for the first half of the season, with an option to buy.
Young winger Naim Garcia has been loaned to Racing Ferrol until the end of the season.
After 6.5 years and 184 appearances, right back Nacho Vidal joins Real Oviedo on a free transfer. Serious injuries and a loan spell at RCD Mallorca in the second half of last season had left Vidal out of favor but he left emotionally after a spell in which he reached the Copa del Rey and won Segunda.
Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez is set to end his fairytale return to his hometown club in Galicia after stating that relations with the club had 'deteriorated', leaving him feeling 'uneasy'. After helping them gain promotion to Segunda, the 36-year-old is set to join Rayo Vallecano, says Diario AS.
Young forward Javi Llabres has joined Eldense in Segunda on loan in search of playing time.
Relevo says Real Betis are interested in bringing back Alex Moreno from Aston Villa. On loan at Nottingham Forest they have an option to buy Moreno, but the Spanish left back has not been used much by Nuno lately. Villa, meanwhile, would have to terminate one of their existing leases to allow a move due to FIFA caps. While Moreno is keen to move, his salary could be another issue.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Rui Silva has been loaned out to Sporting CP on a €4.7m deal for the summer after 3.5 years in Seville.
Veteran midfielder Cesar de la Hoz has left on a free transfer to Real Oviedo. The 32-year-old has made 26 appearances in the past 18 months, but has made just one appearance in the Copa del Rey this season.
Sevilla have said goodbye to another member of their last Europa League title, with Gonzalo Montiel returning to Argentina. The World Cup winner leaves after 3.5 years to return to River Plate in exchange for €4.5 million after 81 appearances, 3 goals and 6 assists.
Villarreal have given Napoli a deadline to decide on a move until the end of the season for former Real Madrid centre-back Rafa Marin. Relevo says the Yellow Sub wants to make a deal on Saturday or they will pull out. Napoli's failure to land Danilo following his departure from Juventus has halted the move, but Antonio Conte's side are still looking at a loan for Marin.
