Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies will soon be on the sidelines after a hamstring injury, the Bundesliga club has confirmed.
The Canadian international was injured late in the first half of Wednesday's 3-0 Champions League defeat at Feyenoord.
Davies had only recently returned to action after a thigh injury ruled him out last month.
“Alphonso Davies suffered a muscle strain in his left hamstring on Wednesday evening during the Champions League match against Feyenoord (0-3). This was confirmed by a scan carried out by the medical staff of FC Bayern,” the club said in a statement. without providing a timeline for the 24-year-old's return.
Bayern midfielder Joao Palhinha is also out after suffering an abductor muscle injury in November, while goalkeeper Daniel Peretz was sidelined with a kidney bruise.
Defender Sacha Boey has yet to make his comeback after suffering a ligament injury last month.
Bundesliga leader Bayern visits Freiburg on Saturday.
