OFFICIAL: Antony is on loan to Real Betis until the end of the season

Manchester United:

The Brazilian international has completed a move to Real Betis in La Liga.

Manuel Pellegrini's team are currently ninth in the table and are still involved in the UEFA Conference League.

The Reds played Betis in the United States in July as part of our pre-season tour, with Antony coming on in the second half after a 3-2 win.

Antony joined United from Ajax in 2022 and has scored in his first three Premier League appearances, including against Arsenal on his Old Trafford debut.

The winger also scooped our 2022/23 Goal of the Season award, with his winner against Barcelona earning the accolade.

Last season he made 38 appearances as Erik ten Hag's men memorably won the Emirates FA Cup, including an important goal in the 4-3 quarter-final against Liverpool, before being an unused substitute on the big day against Manchester City.

The 24-year-old marked his first appearance of 2024/25 with a goal, from the penalty spot, in the 7-0 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup.

He has been a regular in the matchday squad under Ruben Amorim and came off the bench in our most recent two Premier League games, against Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
