It is not spoken enough about how remarkable David Brooks is.
For the 27-year-old to bounce back from the diagnosis of cancer in 2021 to become a Premier League support pillar in a team that chases a top four place, is one of the great stories in the modern game.
Brooks is the go-to option of Andoni Iraola on the right and although he does not get the goals or assists from a Justin Kluivert or Antoine Semenyo, Brooks is one of the undervalued stars of this cherry side.
Most expected that the Welshman would fall into a championship loan last season and never get a shot on the top flight.
Others wrote the opportunities on his body to rebuild the power to continue and compete at the pinnacle of football in this country.
“We trust him a lot,” Iraola said about Brooks recently. 'Everyone in the club trusts David.
'He has been playing more minutes lately, especially because we have the injuries of TAV [Marcus Tavernier]from Sini [Luis Sinisterra] In his position.

Arsenal cannot continue to see red
