Daniel Cormier had an interesting view of Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker who worked together in the gym.
Former UFC Middleweight Champions Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker almost broke the internet when they were trained and hang out together in the gym prior to the coming fight by Adesanya. Despite their earlier poor blood and two middleweight title pairs, the two elite middle weights have crushed their beef and usually attracted positive reactions from fans and experts.
UFC Hall by Famer Daniel Cormier had several rivalry during his illustrious fighting career, but not as heated as with Jon Jones. Cormier and Jones treated fans to one of the wildest quarrels in the UFC history, with fights of press conference and many personal shots in between.
While Cormier Adesanya and Whittaker respects for putting their past on the shelf, he does not know if he and Jones will ever be able to replicate their friendship.

Daniel Cormier compares Jon Jones rivalry with Israel Adesanya/Robert Whittaker Bromance
During a recent episode of Good Guy/Bad Guy with Chael Sonnen, Cormier responded to Adesanya and Whittaker who insjoeks their beef.
“I think it's great, I just don't know if I could ever have done it,” Cormier said. “It's temporary, Jones and I, it's not like before. We can now be honest in the same area and be warm, it is not what it used to be where we would just fight everywhere. Whether we were in a bar or a club, and I will be honest, that was fun! But I don't need that vague feeling. I don't hate that Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield have crushed their beef and they laugh, a joke. But if Evander never forgiven him because he had bitten his ear, I would have had no problem with it. Sometimes rivalry have to live.
'I don't know [Adesanya and Whittaker] Had that kind of rivalry, and that's why I think it's good that they are friends. They didn't like each other right now because they both wanted the same thing so badly. As soon as that thing is not available for one of them at the moment … The thing that divided them is now a bit aside and they can pass there …[but] I love my rivalry to last a long time. “
Adesanya defeated Whittaker twice during their career; Recently through unanimous decision on UFC 271. Now on the outside looking at the middleweight title photo, both Adesanya and Whittaker want to fight back to the throne they once had.
Daniel Cormier's feud with Jon Jones may never disappear completely
Adesanya wants to break the first losing streak of his MMA career after recent defeats for Sean Strickland and Dricus du Plessis. Whittaker recently lost to Khamzat Chimaev on UFC 308 by entry and focuses on a return to the Octagon later this year.
As far as Cormier is concerned, while he and Jones are no longer heated rivals, he is afraid that he will eventually be friends with his two -time light heavyweight enemy. But the two parties shared some positive back and forth prior to Jones's heavyweight victories over Ciryl Gane and Stipe Miocic.
Despite their current chapter, Jones and Cormier may never see the eye in the eyes after their blood cooking. But Adesanya and Whittaker showed that even the most bitter rivalry can be reserved with time.
