Meet Man Utd target Dorgu who has ‘never been injured in seven years’

Patrick Dorgu could be the answer to the conundrum of Manchester United by Ruben Amorim.

Amorim was determined to perform his favorite 3-4-3 formation when he arrived at Old Trafford in November.

However, it has not been as effective as he probably expected.

Amad Diallo and Diogo Dalot were initially Amorim's preference wingbacks at the start of his term of office in the club.

But with Amad now used in a more attacking position and Dalot that has difficulty adapting to his new role, the head coach is forced to look for options elsewhere.

Earlier this month, Amorim focused his sights on Lecce-Back-Back Dorgu and now looks ready to close a deal for him.

United has reportedly reached a £ 29 million agreement with its Serie A side.

It includes another £ 4 million in add-ons with regard to Champions League qualification and a fixed number of Premier League performances.

If he becomes a member of United, Dorgu could jump directly into Amorim's starting line-up.

Compared to man Utd-star Amad, Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui, the 20-year-old this season has won more duels and more property and made more tackles, crosses and interceptions.

He also has four goals and assists – a huge improvement compared to the zero of Dalot and Mazraoui.

And the left back has tried a total of 36 shots of all its potential future teammates.

The all -round game of Dorgu seems to be a bit more balanced than that of the current defensive players of United.

He is effective, both in the future and can be followed – and that is exactly what Amorim has been looking for in recent months.

In another huge boost he also has an impressive fitness record.

Nordsjælland Technical Director Alexander Riget, who saw the young person grow up in the club, recently told Sport Witness: “He was never injured – never.

“He played for Nordsjælland for six or seven years and I can't remember being injured one day, which is very abnormal when you grow. That is also a very good thing.”

It will come as music for Amorim's ears, given the recurring injury problems that have plagued Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw in recent years.

Dorgu's targeted bravery was also clear during his senior international debut for Denmark in September.

He broke the impasse against Switzerland with his first touch only 42 minutes after he came from the bank.

If the full-back becomes a member of United, he will be the first signing of the Amorim era.

The Red Devils are also about to sign Arsenal -young Ayden Heaven
