‘I gave everything’ – Neymar sends farewell message after Al-Hilal exit

Neymar has sent a farewell message to supporters after confirming his exit from Al-Hilal.

The Saudi Aarabic club officially announced on Monday that the Neymar contract had been canceled by mutual permission.

Brazil International Neymar is now reportedly close to Santos, with whom he started his career before moving to Barcelona in 2013.

Although the 32-year-old is grateful that he played in another other country, he is disappointed that he has no longer reached Al-Hilal.

“Thanks to everyone at Al-Hilal, for the fans,” he posted on his personal X account.

“I gave everything to play and I wish we enjoyed better times on the field.

“For Saudi, thank you for giving me and my family a new home and new experience. I now know the real Saudi and have friends for life.

“I have always felt your love and passion for the game. I will follow your journey ahead as a club and a country compared to 2034.

“Your future will be incredible, special things will happen. And I will always support you.”

Al-Hilal paid € 90 million to acquire Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain in 2023, but his performances were limited by injury problems.

Neymar only played seven times for the Gulf-Outfit, including two performances this season, after repairing his last resignation.

After not – registered for the Saudi Pro League earlier this month, a number of clubs – among them Chicago Fire – were connected to the attacker.

Santos, however, is generally reported as the favorites to sign Neymar, who remains the most expensive player of all time after moving to PSG seven and a half year ago.
