Liverpool is looking for a new loan for the young midfielder Stefan Bajcetic, and a return to La Liga can be the best solution for all parties. Last summer, Barcelona tried to bring him in for the 2024-25 season, and while they failed, there could be a Spanish club whose pursuit is successful.
After he missed the Barcelona movement, Bajcetic joined RB Salzburg, although he struggled for fame in Austria. As such, Liverpool wants to send him somewhere else until the summer, although a definitive decision has to be made.
Last week it was reported that Las Palmas had made contact with the Premier League leaders with a view to taking Bajcetic for the rest of the season. They can be considered favorites to close a deal, although a key has been thrown in, because it has now been reported by Marca that Getafe went into the race for the 20-year-old midfielder.
Getafe would like to add a new defensive midfielder next to Luis Milla and Mauro Arambarri, and they consider Bajcetic as an ideal addition.
For now, a final decision has to be made, because Liverpool and Bajcetic like to weigh the best possible movement. Both parties want the young person to go where he will have an interest he has not had in Salzburg. Both Getafe and Las Palmas will gladly hold an agreement for the weekend, so that the player can be available for the next round of La Liga parades -Getafe -Gastheer Sevilla, while Las Palmas travel to Girona.
The career of Bajcetic has stagnated over the past 18 months due to a lack of football, mainly caused by injuries. He will be happy to get back on the right track in the coming months, and for now it is still to be seen whether that will happen in La Liga.
