Khabib Nurmagomedov gave an expensive gift to Shara Magomedov when the couple finally met in Dubai last year.
The middleweight star is a new generation of UFC hunter from Dagestan, but does not have the same gripping style as Team Nurmagomedov. Instead, he is known as a kickboxer with more a striking base, and therefore a more fan -friendly style.
He once tried to train in the famous gym of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, but was unable to come back after he was told that his hair was too long. But he and Khabib are now friendly after a meeting in the middle east at a business conference.

Last year, while attending a business conference in Dubai, Shara Magomedov was given the opportunity to give Khabib Nurmagomedov a speech about his father's gym. He was fascinated by what he heard and later received backstage to meet the legendary lightweight champion.

“The meeting was great and Khabib was very nice. He was exactly what I expected and I didn't want to take much of his time. There was even a time when I saw Taht that he was distracted here and there and he had planned other meetings.

Magomedov has never trained with the Nurmagomedov team, including Khabib and UFC champion Islam Makhakev, PFL 2024 winner Gadzhi Rabadanov and Bellator champion USMAN NURMAGOMEDOV.
However, he once visited their gym, but could not get the chance to train more while he refused to cut his hair. “He said three things that are important for an athlete,” Magomedov said about the late Abdulmanap.

“The problem was that to sign up there, you had to have the hairstyle. Once I went there when I went there when Khabib was young and he actually didn't train that day, so I trained. I left and the problem was that Abdulmanap said: “You need a short bald hairstyle.”
