Man Utd stars hit Amorim as he runs birthday gauntlet in training

Manchester United stars touch jokes Ruben Amorim while he walks through a birthday glove before the training started today.

The Portuguese manager kept his back at the end of the tunnel made by the player while the team honored his 40th birthday.

Amorim celebrated his milestone era with wife Maria Joao Diogo in Manchester on Monday after the 1-0 win of United over Fulham.

And the celebrations went on on Wednesday morning in Carrington for cameras.

Amorim could be seen jokes and colleague birthday boy Darren Fletcher pushed before he sprinted through a course of players.

The couple decided to run together by running the glove while the team was eagerly waiting to give them a wallop while they passed.

Fletcher, who will be 41 on Saturday, first appeared before Amorim gestured as if he were held his back with pain.

Club captain Bruno Fernandes and Chelsea connected Alejandro Garnacho stood at the start of the tunnel and could take their hands.

And fans made jokes that outcasts Marcus Rashford and Casemiro might have been tempted to give Amorim a firmer me.

Rashford, whose training request was questioned by Amorim, could be involved at the end of Gauntlet.

Amorim joked that he feels 10 years older after two months in Manchester after the late victory from his side in Craven Cottage on Sunday.

He said: “It's not 40 … I am 50! After two months at Manchester United it is 50. It is a privilege to spend my 40th birthday here.

“It will be fantastic because we have won. Then I will dine with my children.”

Rashford was depicted laughing with his teammates during the rest of the session after Amorim's newest brutal reactions after the game.

The former sporty Gaffer took a wipe in the owner of his own England by explaining that he would rather choose his 63-year-old goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital above a player who is left in training.

In the meantime, the glove has become something of a tradition this season.

“If you can create those relationships and those links, you can push each other at the hard moments during the season.

“You can demand more, so I think he is looking forward to getting to know his players more.”

The Red Devils travel to the Romanian outfit FCSB for their last competition phase match in the Europa League on Thursday.
