Dani Olmo and Pau Victor's registration business has taken a back seat in recent weeks, after Barcelona was given an emergency gable to have both players register and be available. The two will only be the decision of Barcelona as long as the High Committee for Sport (CSD), an arm from the Ministry of Sports, intentionally about the case.
Both Olmo and Victor have returned to action in the meantime, after Barcelona could claim that neither players should not have been registered by La Liga and the RFEF. Liga rules state that as soon as a player is not registered, they cannot be registered twice in one season, which in theory both players exclude both players for the rest of the season.
As reported by MD, both La Liga and the Royal Spanish football federation (RFEF) have sent their documentation and arguments to the CSD, which explains why Olmo and Victor should not be registered. This is bad news for Barcelona – although their order is valid while the case is underway, with a limit of 7 April to be completed, the faster the case movements, the sooner they could be without both players, if the decision go Against their interests.
In addition, La Liga appealed to the Court of Contentious Administration and has submitted a motion to cancel the Barcelona command. If this is granted, the Olmo and Victor would immediately register again, and only potential victory in their business could see them play for the Blaugrana this season, should it come.
Barcelona claims that they had submitted the documents and that the money came in the club of a deal for their VIP chairs, but it was La Liga's request to prove funds that the change in their salary limit delayed and therefore not registered in both registered are. They say that proof of fund rule was not in force, and so they had completed the documentation in time. Whether the CSD sees it that way is still to be seen.
