Tyrell Malacia from Manchester United will be on the Celtic radar in the coming days if they cannot secure a movement for Kieran Tierney before the transfer window closes.
The Scottish club has concluded a pre-contract agreement with Arsenal with which Tierney returns to Parkhead in the summer. They hope to accelerate his move and land him this month, with Greg Taylor the only recognized left back that is currently in their team.
If they miss the landing problems, they may have to turn to the Dutch defender of United, who has just returned after 18 months injured. Malacia is not expected to be a fixed value under Ruben Amorim and Celtic can consider a loan movement to temporarily fill their emptiness.
Brendan Rodgers depends on different moving parts with Arsenal, who have had to deal with this period with different injuries, not sure if they can afford to make Tierney leave. Oleksandr Zinchenko could still move to Atletico Madrid, which would influence the future of Tierney.
According to the Daily Mail, United itself is probably more willing to listen to offers for Malacia if they, as expected, close a deal for Lecce star Patrick Dorgu. Real betis also show interest in a deal for the Dutchman until the summer.
Malacia is on it, despite his long period on the sidelines, that he is ready to make an impact. He said: “I am always prepared. I always want to play good games, so it doesn't matter who. I feel sharp and I feel ready. I just want to play football. It's a long time ago so I'm happy to go back to be. “
Amorim was able to see even more of his team leave in the last days of the transfer window. The Manchester Club has made it clear that they will listen to offers for all their players, such as Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho in motion.
Rashford is no longer part of the first team photo in Old Trafford and has not been playing since mid-December. His wage has proved to be a stumbling block for potential lovers with a loan movement probably.
Garnacho is now the subject of interest of Chelsea and Napoli. His agent has discussed possible exit routes for the Argentinian, which was also fallen by Amorim in the past. Garnacho would have a substantial fee and would result in a substantial profit for United.
