While Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir shared such an intense hatred for each other, it did not lose a rival who hurt the wrestling icon.
On February 2, 2008, in the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, two of the greatest heavyweights of all time were war.
The WWE legend drove through the early part of the fight and dominated his opponent with legal land and pounds.
But then, apparently out of nowhere, his archenemy locked in a knee bar to wipe the carpet under his feet.

Coming from a WWE background, Brock Lesnar Charisma radiated on the microphone, with the American delivering some of the best promos of all time.

Although Lesnar was certainly worried for their first meeting, he was not the only one who felt the weight of the world on his shoulders.
This is surprisingly considering that MIR had already defeated legends such as Tim Sylvia and Tank Abbott.
In the end, the Grappler would always come at the top with a BJJ Black if the fight hit the floor. After all, legend is very open about what he is capable of, with Mir confesses that he had an almost fatal training session when a UFC star would not tap.
But just before the fight, something put the former UFC king on sharp. Mir is open about the comment that the pressure has piled up.
