Brighton has rejected an offer from the Saudi Arabian club for winger Kaoru Mitoma worth £ 54 million (€ 65 million).
It is understanding that the Japanese international is not for sale.
The move of Al Nassr for Mitoma comes in the midst of the Saudi Pro League side that closes a £ 64 million deal for Aston Villa Jhon Duran.
The deal of Al Nassr for the Colombia International is part of a new Saudi strategy to concentrate on singing young people and developing players instead of being considered a pensioning home for aging superstars.
Now the Club Cristiano Ronaldo is playing for a movement for another Premier League player in Mitoma.
The 27-year-old joined the seagulls on the Japanese side Kawasaki Frontale in 2021 for a reported £ 2.7 million before the 2021/22 season was spent on the Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise.
Mitoma scored his Brighton debut in August 2022, since then 92 performances appeared in all competitions and scored 18 goals.
This season Mitoma played in all 23 Premier League matches for the side of Fabian Hurzeler and scored five goals.
