Marco Asensio is one of a number of attacking players who monitors Aston Villa while Unai Emery seems to strengthen his team before the transfer window closes on 3 February.
Villa needs reinforcements as a leading goal scorer Jhon Duran concludes when completing a relocation of £ 64.5 million to Al-Nassr.
Asensio has been on Villas Watchlist for a while now and it is clear that the Midlands Club is convinced that the match of a deal to sign it on loan would be fairly easy.
The 29-year-old Spain International is currently under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 2026.
He has been in PSG since July 2023 when he arrived from Real Madrid.
Asensio has scored seven goals in 47 performances for the French club, after he has scored 61 times in 286 outings for his former side.
However, PSG is prepared to load him this winter and offered him to several potential voorags.
Villa is also still watching Chelsea playmaker Joao Felix and Wolves star Matheus Cunha, while Mathys Tel is a little further in their list.
Asensio would bring a lot of European experience in Villa Park, after he had won three UEFA Champions League titles with Madrid.
Villa booked their place in the Tour of 16 in the Champions League of this season on Wednesday evening when they defeated Celtic 4-2 to finish eighth in the competition phase.
In the meantime, Asensio was an unused replacement when PSG won 4-1 away in Stuttgart.
In that result, the French champions ended up in 15th place and provided a place in the play-offs.
PSG will now be confronted in February with the Portuguese side Benfica on two legs, with the winner in the round of 16 in March met Liverpool or Barcelona.
